Viking Power

My little nephew turned one yesterday. I wanted to celebrate our Norwegian heritage by making him a viking doll. I love how it turned out - now the husband wants one :)

A few preliminary sketches and the large sketch I made the pattern from:

trying to decide on blonde or red beard

curly red beard and halfway done

And what viking doesn't have a battle axe?

Little E with his new viking! Love how it's almost as big as my nephew.

  5. You should post the pattern. I found this on craftgawker and I showed it to my husband and he wants one as well!

  6. You should sell your pattern online. I often buy sewing and crochet patterns that are $5 or under. Super cute doll. My family is Swede Scottish and fiancé is Norway Scottish so we love our Viking heritage. My fiancé looks like a tall Gimli from lord of the rings. I just bought 2 crochet patterns on Etsy to make a small and large Viking.
