DIY Bookmarks

***update: find the 2017 version here***

These are my current bookmarks -

a scrap of paper
an old receipt
a paper towel (most likely used)
a coupon from the valpak

pathetic, huh?

So I printed off a couple pics from the internet, got out the scrapbook supplies and created my own.

Meet my new bookmarks -

The first has an image from a vintage sewing pattern. Next is an old library poster from the 60's with some eyelash yarn fringe.

I thought it would be cool to keep track of the books I've read this year. So I drew a stack of books where I can write in the titles as I read them.

Want your own 2012 reading list bookmark? Just print image found here, cut along the grey lines, glue to pretty paper and start filling in your own titles.

Check out the books I've read lately at goodreads on my sidebar, and feel free to comment on what you're reading. I'm always looking for recommendations.

  1. I wanted to tell you how much my family has enjoyed your 2012 reading bookmark. I found it through pinterest and printed it up. We use it to bookmark and record our read-aloud book. The kids beg me to read aloud now, since they want to fill in all the books.

It's also a nice keepsake for us to remember what books we had read in previous years. I had even forgotten some of the books we read earlier this year, if not for having them written on the bookmark.

Please make a 2013 one! We would be eternally grateful if you do.
